Why is Attracs deleted ?
I saw that Attracs was deleted because of A7 No indication of importance (individuals, animals, organizations, web content, events). I do not agree on that and I will try to explain why.
Bold for Delphi is a framework in Delphi to make programming easier by transform rows in a database to true instances of classes. It have also many other features. Bold have the potential to make programmers life much easier when making big applications with complex logic. But one problem is that it is impossible to legally get a copy of it. Reason is that Embarcadero_Technologies have copyright of it and refuse to make it open source. But they don't have the software for sale either so the situation is strange.
But there is a few persons and organizations that have full source of Bold because they bought it from Boldsoft, the original creator of Bold. Boldsoft was then bought by Borland around 2002. After that it was not possible to buy Bold anymore.
Now why is Attracs company important ?
It is one of the few companies in the world that have full source of Bold for Delphi and still actively maintain it. Unfortunately I have no sources from internet or any references to books or magazines about this.
I tried to add a link to my petition here to show at least one proof, but that trigger a protection filter... But you can search Google on embarcadero-technologies-release-the-intellectual-property-of-bold-for-delphi. I try to convince Embarcadero to change policy and I got their attention as I now have 221 signs on the petition. Hopefully the source for Bold will be available in some way then. --D98rolb (talk) 20:31, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- Note the wording "No indication of..." in the deletion reason. We're not saying that the subject is not significant (the standard for speedy deletion), or notable (the standard we really seek which is used at WP:AFD). From what you say, it doesn't look like a subject that will attract the coverage in reliable independent sources WP:RS. Your petition cannot be a reliable independent source - because it is not independent of you. If you try again, do it in your user space at User:D98rolb/DRAFT and ask for advise before launching it in the main article space. Peridon (talk) 19:21, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

page move to protected location
Hi Peridon, I was wondering if you would mind moving Dyro (producer) to Dyro (which looks like it was protected for repeat spamminess). I'd appreciate it - there's a lot of interlinking to do, not much point getting started until the address is set. Thanks! Earflaps (talk) 12:00, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- Done. I've not looked into the notability, but this looks better than previous things under the name. Peridon (talk) 13:46, 16 July 2015 (UTC)

Thank you, "writer, book producer, musician and trivia addict", for your beginning with an explained correction, for fighting spam ("your username is a violation ...") and hoaxes, for trust and "This user admits a liking for the surreal, but has never been a tiger." - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

What is your problem. Why did you delete my article on Lennie Teague Beastboy2004 (talk) 14:51, 19 July 2015 (UTC)

The Night Runners
Hi I recently wanted to work on this page and saw it had been deleted for poor notability and references. I believe I have the proper references and am requesting if I may submit some changes to the page and see if it gets accepted. Thank you so very much for your time and will be here patiently waiting for your response at your earliest convenience. Vlolv (talk) 03:55, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not sure how I'm involved, but your page was deleted because you blanked it, which is taken as a request to delete. Go ahead and try again if you want. Peridon (talk) 15:57, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
Go Professional Cases - Speedy Deletion
Hi Peridon, I'm sending this message to contest the speedy deletion of the Go Professional Cases (GPC) Wikipedia page. The company is extremely relevant to the drone industry at large, with thousands of relevant filmmaker clients, thousands of social media followers, and strong relationships with other drone brands such as DJI Global, 3D Robotics, GoPro and more. GPC's cases have been featured in the New York City Drone Film Festival, NAB Show, Drone Expo and countless other industry conferences - often touted as the industry's best in protective drone cases. I would love the opportunity to rectify the page so that it does not appear as unambiguous promotion to the average reader. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rivera312 (talk • contribs) 21:57, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- Social media followings are not counted here - they are far too easily bought or otherwise manipulated. Number of clients is also not really relevant, as are relationships - notability is not transferred. Read WP:CORP and WP:RS for more info. There's nothing stopping you from trying again after you read those policies. Peridon (talk) 22:06, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
