Team Flags

     Mini games in Runescape(Free to play MMORPG) allow players to interact with each other by in combat or work together to complete a stage. Playing the mini game can allow players to receive in game rewards that can be only accessible by collecting the current of the game

    Castle wars is a safe mini-game for Runescape members which the goal is to take the flag from the enemy base and bring it back to your base for one point. Players on the team will either be wearing red or blue to avoid confusion between teammates once they are in the game. All the combat types such as ranged, melee, and magic are allowed in the game to help you kill your enemies. Player in the are able to take different combination of items to help them get past the obstacle. (in the picture on the right) Items such as a barricade are popular for blocking your enemies and they can be strategically placed in choke points which will force your enemy to attack the barricade in order to get by. Carrying the explosive potions will enable players to destroy barricades in a blink of an eye compared to using tinderboxes to light it on fire which take 3 more seconds. Band-aids can be taken from the respawn area and be used to heal the player.

Strategies

    There are many ways to take the flag from the enemy base. One way is to cross the bridge through the island and simply walk through the enemy doors or use a rope on the wall to climb up the enemy battlement. Another way is to crossing the stepping stones to avoid detection from the enemy. Players have access to underground which connects the two castles which is located in the basement of the castle. In the midway of the tunnel, there is a collapsible wall which can be used to create distance from the enemies who are chasing you. Collapsing the walls leaves behind rocks that can be cleared with a pick axe in your inventory and using two explosive potions to clear instantly clear the rocks. Using different routes to such as traveling above ground and coming back underground is another strategy player can use in the game to be successful. Usually successful flag captures are led by players with high combat levels which means taking less damage from enemies.
