RE: Question on Portraits

Hey, sorry I took so long to respond (I've been racking up the sleep-in hours lately, so my wikitime has been limited). Assuming you get full permission to use the portrait, you are more than welcome to use that portrait here on the 'Pedia. That said, you'd have to use the "permission is granted by the author to redistribute and copy this work" copyright template. I'm glad to hear that the portrait is good. Copyright-accessible portraits are difficult to find these days ;) Cam (Chat) 17:50, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Just one more thing: i've closed and promoted Jagdgeschwader (I know, that's not how you spell it, but you get what I mean;). just one suggestion - in the future, forward requests for closing to the coordinator talk-page, under one of the numerous sub-headings entitled "ACR closures" (we almost always have one active, so they shouldn't be too hard to find). That way, all twelve of us have the ability to know that it needs closing. Regards, Cam (Chat) 21:42, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Yep. Licensing looks good. Cam (Chat) 05:26, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

RE: Jagdgeschwader 1 (World War II)

Hello,

I noticed the FAC ongoing, as im sure you have seen the process is long and agonizing. My advice is to just correct whatever they find to be wrong, on top of that I would check all your refs per WP:V just to be sure they are reliable. I will show some support on the FAC though, because this article is amazing and has a great level of content. And in due time if it passes may I reccomend bringing it to the final stage of article development WP:TFAR to be featured on the main page.

In regards to O'hare, I do not have a picture of the wildcat, and sadly I will not be going to O' hare anytime soon but will be using Midway in a couple weeks so if any aircraft there is of interest I might be able to get a picture of that. -Marcusmax(speak) 23:54, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Anyway I will be watching the FAC to see how it goes. -Marcusmax(speak) 01:11, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Sources

I am not sure how your finances are but you should check out this. I noticed you were looking for sources on MrBs page. They do a further two volumes. They are a tad expensive (for a student!) but you may want to pur-chase Volumes two and three. Did you know about them? And happy new year and best wishes. Dapi89 (talk) 00:19, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
