Speedy deletion of One Day In Peace
editA tag has been placed on One Day In Peace requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Images
editIt looks like you've had a hard time getting some of your content in to the wikipedia! Just FYI: the image you added to Institutional racism is up for deletion because of copyright problems. I imagine that the images from the AP might fall under "fair use" under the circumstances, but whoever synthesized the images to show an example of Institutional racism should be credited (was that you? if so could you change the license you have selected?)
Well, in any case, welcome to the wikipedia-- sorry things have started out so bureaucratic I had a similar experience with images when I first started editing.

You can respond to me right here on your own talk page. I have it on my watch list. Do you create the image? futurebird (talk) 18:29, 7 December 2007 (UTC) No, I'm not on facebook, I don't think. I don't think I can do anything about the photo being deleted if you didn't create it. :( I even wonder if "fair use" would permit that synthesis of images. They take image copyright pretty seriously here, and its not such a bad things because it means that all of the content in the wikipedia can be used freely. I hope you stick around even if this image thing doesn't work out. I'm going to put a template on your user page with some links that I hope will help you become more familiar with the wikipedia: futurebird (talk) 20:33, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:CampsfieldBus.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:CampsfieldBus.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 15:37, 12 May 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:37, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Image tagging for File:Campsfield bus flyer.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Campsfield bus flyer.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
