Personal attacks

Please refrain from making personal attacks like this. This is against wikipedia policy. Thanks. deeptrivia (talk) 05:58, 26 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

It was not a personal attack. If you carefully go through all of his contributions, this guy seems to have an agenda. 26 February 2006 Peterhenych

Peterhenych, I do respect your right to edit here and you appear to be well familiar with wikipedia. I trust that your edits and comments shall be in conformity with the wiki-policies. Muttahida Qaumi Movement Page

edit

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement is very politcally and emotionally charged page. Please do not make drastic changes without discussing the issues in discussion page. I have contributed only two paragraph on that page. The other users are also emotional about the issue so please cooperate and reach a consensus on both sides of the issues before drastic changes. I have not written the paragraphs that you accuse me or writing, I just reverted your changes. I may or may not agree with many issues but please do not make it a personal issue. Please follow Wikipedia rules.

  • You must also understand the grievances of people living especially in Karachi e.g. Muhajirs, Sindhis, Pakhtuns, Punjabis, Memons, etc. The Zia regime wanted crush PPP and encouraged its oppenents MQM and Jiye Sindh. The huge population increase in Karachi due to immigration from other parts of the country created problems of jobs and lack of infrastructure. In interior Sindh, the Jiye Sindh started targeting Muhajirs and many migrated to Karachi. Muhajirs felt seiged from all sides. The transportation sector is dominated by Pakhtuns which drive carelessly due to lack of police enforcement and curruption. In 1984, a student named Bushra Zaidi while crossing a street was run over by a bus driven by Pakhtun driver. People started attacking buses and especially Pakhtun drivers. The transportation mafia retaliated by attacking other Muhajirs localities. That was the trigger point from where all the violence and terrorism started in Karachi.

I myself oppose all form violence and support rights of all groups in Karachi. The MQM supporters will start to revert your changes. More later..
