I noticed you are known only as an IP address; that means you are not signed up. When you are you will get a username like mine. (See Wikipedia:Why create an account?). It only takes a username and password to sign up, no information needed (go to Special:Userlogin to sign up). Harold Fleming

Hi - I note that you have made this a disambiguation page and have created a new article for the footballer at Harold John Fleming. For future reference, to do this you should firstly "Move" the existing article to its new title and then create a new article with the original article as the Disambiguation page. This then retains the history of the original article and also the links from other articles. Out of courtesy you should now go through the links to the Harold Fleming article (via the "What links here" tab in the toolbox at the left and change them all to read Harold Fleming. Best wishes. Re:Help or advice needed

I have had a look at what the IP has done, and yes, some policies appear to have been violated. What you'll need to do is revert the article back to the date you wish to restore it to. I'd then correct the re-correct the spelling which you corrected after the IP edits were made. ;-) Lradrama 14:40, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

I have reverted the IPs edits. You may wish to do this yourself. Please read Help:Reverting and try it out on the sandbox or something. You cannot block the IP because that is restricted to administrators only. I can only block the IP if his vandalism is persistant. What impressed me about the DY idea, besides knowing the author and the general quality of his work, is the positive reception it received among linguists who I know are also very careful in their work. Thanks for uploading Image:Merritt Ruhlen.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

Hey,

I changed the pharyngeal diacritic in your 40-word lists. Hope you don't mind. What you had was not the actual IPA symbol; though it looks identical in most fonts, it can cause coding problems. I've yet to figure out why Unicode has both. (I created a custom IPA keyboard, and, wouldn't you know, it produces the wrong diacritic, so I've been cleaning up the mess that I've caused and whatever else I can find.) — kwami (talk) 00:59, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
