External Links on World of Warcraft
editPlease stop adding further external links to the article. We have been having a discussion to reach concensus on what is and is not relevant and appropriate. Please discuss the matter on the talk page before adding any further links to ensure that there is concensus to do so. Any questions, please ask.

- I added one link - to the EU version of the forums. Previously there was a link to the "Official Interface Customization Forums", which was incorrect; in the first place the title of the forums is the "UI & Macros" forum, and second the US forums are not the official forums. The links have been removed now, so this is moot.
- I am curious: why did you feel the need to write this? Having actually already added some links, had the changes revoked, taken part in the discussion about links itself, asked specific questions and had them answered - by yourself - it feels very much like you are trying to tell me off for being naughty. Have I been naughty? You didn't make any point other than to repeat information that you are fully aware I already know. Please stop doing this. Any questions, please ask. ~ Pgl (talk) 00:13, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- It's not a telling off - it's not my place to do that. It's more of a request to ask that we stop adding further links to an article until consensus is reached. By adding further links, it compounds the problem, which was the point I was trying to get at. By pausing until consensus is reached, it ensures that we all have guidelines under which to operate. As for adding the note on your talk page - I thought it would be polite to come here and explain what had been done along with the reasons for doing it and the progress being made to resolve the issue long term. It was an attempt to encourage you to return to that discussion to reach a resolution on this subject. I'm not sure how that can be interpreted as trying to tell you off. I hope this explains the situation. Gazimoff (talk) 00:29, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
