editIf you can just add the appropriate independent references to demonstrate the band's notability, I can reinstate it.Deb (talk) 11:15, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
Hi, sorry for the huge delay of my answer, here is a complete list of appropriate independent references to demonstrate band's notability:

- I think you need to read the notability and verifiability guidelines again. Social networks are not acceptable, and the BBC page you quote only says that it does not have any entry for this band - which is counter to your suggestion of notability. I would recommend you submit a new version of the article to Wikipedia:Articles for creation rather than risk having it repeatedly deleted. Deb (talk) 12:17, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks, will check Articles for creation. Please note: mtv.com and others do have content for the band (and it is not created from the band, so they are compliant to wikipedia verifiability), while bbc.co.uk gets content from wikipedia, and, even if wikipedia is not a relevant and important source for progressive rock music, to feed these music websites like bbc.co.uk, we now need to publish an article on wikipedia. That's really all the need for a page. while for wikipedia social networks are not important, they are now vital for music industry, so are specialised music websites, so really not trying to force any presence on wikipedia, just being pressured by these new form of certain relevant music websites to get content from wikipedia instead from typical google's structured data and such...
