Do not remove PROD from Bhuvan Bam
editArticle : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhuvan_Bam
I see, you have removed PROD tag from Bhuvan Bam article. The last time nomination for deletion is terminated by nominator itself, so a new nomination can be made for deletion. And i checked the article and i notice it full of promotional contents and the reliable source are not written by staff but it a public contribution. --Religiousmyth (talk) 06:53, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- This article has been through two discussions at WP:AFD. That makes it ineligible for the WP:PROD procedure, as very clearly stated on that policy page. If you want it to be deleted then another WP:AFD discussion will be needed. Phil Bridger (talk) 06:57, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- Discussion : Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bhuvan Bam
- I have only found this discussion for deletion and it also withdrawn by nominator without a proper conclusion. I agree with you, it require another WP:AFD discussion. So, please add the deletion tag and let have a fair discussion about the article. whether to keep or delete. Religiousmyth (talk) 07:04, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- I will not create the deletion discussion, because I have not investigated whether this article needs deletion, and so have no view. You, as the one who thinks it should be deleted, need to do that. Phil Bridger (talk) 07:08, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, but when i am creating PROD discussion, your removing my tag. let me add PROD tag again and do not undone it. Religiousmyth (talk) 05:41, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Religiousmyth: If you want to create a discussion for deletion, go with the XFD procedure and not PROD. And give a rationale for the same while doing so rather than just stating guidelines and policies. ManaliJain (talk) 06:39, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
- ManaliJain, so you copied his statement and just pasted here. 223.177.168.145 (talk) 07:16, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
- @ManaliJain Got it :) Religiousmyth (talk) 10:19, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Religiousmyth: HI, You should nominate that article if you want to delete it rather than putting prod tag. You can read this to know, how to nominate that article WP:AFDHOWTO 223.177.168.145 (talk) 06:44, 6 April 2022 (UTC)

With respect to one article
editHi editor
Why this article Rana Beni Madho has been classed as "stub"? despite having many ( if not all) decent references. When I click about this page on talk page of the article it still says "stub article". It would be very helpful if as senior editor you can guide here. Thanks and Best. RS6784 (talk) 08:34, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I can't really help you much, because I don't get involved in article ratings. It looks like more than a stub to me, but maybe you could get better advice at Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Biography. Sunday Pants
editI don't know what happened with Sunday Pants. Usually Twinkle stops the prod process if it catches a prior AFD, but for some reason it didn't this time. Maybe because there wasn't an oldafd tag on the talk page? Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 18:55, 23 April 2022 (UTC)

Would you consider becoming a New Page Reviewer?
edit
Hi Phil Bridger, I've recently been looking for editors to invite to join the new page reviewing team, and after reviewing your editing history, I think you would be a good candidate. Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; the new page reviewing team needs help from experienced users like yourself. Would you please consider becoming a New Page Reviewer? Kindly read the tutorial before making your decision (if it looks daunting, don't worry, most pages are easy to review, and habits are quick to develop). If this looks like something that you can do, please consider joining us. If you choose to apply, you can drop an application over at WP:PERM/NPR. If you have questions, please feel free to drop a message on my talk page or at the reviewer's discussion board. Cheers, and hope to see you around, (t · c) buidhe 22:18, 2 June 2022 (UTC) |
Church-notability proposal
editGreetings, Phil Bridger. To clarify my input in this AfD discussion, let me say that the subject did not indeed pass WP:GNG. Taking the opportunity of a church-related AfD, I suggested that we should perhaps revisit the failed proposal about the notibility of churches and other religious congregations. I believe it'd be useful. Take care. -The Gnome (talk) 20:20, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
