Stop the merges!

edit

A couple of users are attempting to remove several 24 characters and merge them with the already over-stuffed Minor characters in 24 article. Take a look at which ones their trying to merge and together we can cancel out their votes. --T smitts 04:01, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pages on 24 chcaracter

edit

Please read the following WP:NOTABLE WP:CRYSTAL and WP:FICTION. Reading these policies will help you understand why niot every single t.v character deserves a page on wikipedia only a select few do. Please also see 24 Wikia I think you will have a better time there.--Lucy-marie 12:22, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sherry Palmer

edit

You have added your vote for keeping the Sherry Palmer article twice, something that is frowned upon. I don't think you're trying to sway consensus by having more than one vote but I am going to remove the first 'Keep' you added, since that one contains less reasoning. asyndeton (talk) 21:21, 24 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merger Madness

edit

Thank you for helping to stand up to this teenage girl and her current power trip. She wants to basically delete every character page because in her mind, they aren’t important to the show. At least four of us are opposing her and so far no one is agreeing. Hopefully if we all stand together and refute her inane reasons for wanting to merge pages, the admins will realize she is abusing the system and put a stop to it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MiB-24 (talkcontribs) 06:46, 30 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'll do what I can, though this a busy week for me and my time is limited. In the meantime, may I suggest finding some independent sites to add to articles as references? The notability warning itself states this is the best way to show notability. --T smitts 18:17, 30 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

It looks like this over for now guys. Head over to my talk page to view an account of what happened, but Theresa, one of the admins, has removed ALL of the merge tags from the remaining major characters. She suggested, however, that we continue to research independent and credible sources to support our stance for keeping the individual pages. But for now, it's settled. Thanks for all of your input. And a huge thank you to Theresa for help to settle this contentious issue--at least for now. Angelriver 17:02, 1 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
