Orphaned fair use image (Image:Mc albumart.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Mc albumart.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Re : Adam Christianson
editThe abovementioned article was proposed for deletion with the concern of notability. Would you like to contest the proposed deletion (let me know at my talkpage)? - Mailer Diablo 12:03, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
- As per the message on my talkpage, the article has been restored as a contested prod. Take note that it may still be liable for an articles for deletion nomination. Please improve the article and add sources if possible to reduce such chances of deletion. - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 17:17, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
The article Adam Christianson has been listed for deletion discussion at Adam Christianson AfD. Please consider participating in that deletion discussion. -- Jreferee t/c 19:05, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
Re : Recreation of Adam Christianson and Maccast pages
editSorry for the late reply. I afraid using ranking boards alone is rather flimsy evidence; Do you have any standalone articles that are independently and reliably verifiable? (i.e. A feature article on USAToday has a lot more weight on the notability criteria rather than a passing mention on the rankings). - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 05:56, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
