editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:25, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
I am forgetting my wiki name otherwise I promise I would sign my name.
- You have asked a number of people how to become a Wikipedia administrator. Well, the first step is to become a good editor, and in order to be a good editor you have to learn how Wikipedia works. If you don't read the messages posted to you, you will not learn that. (Hint: You don't need to remember your name to sign it. The post you responded to tells you how to do it.) editHello, I'm Bongwarrior. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Deaths in 2014, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Bongwarrior (talk) 18:17, 4 August 2014 (UTC) Sorry It was a mistake and will try not to let it happen again --Pigolt1on1

editWelcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits as you did to Julia Winter (actress). Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you are given a good deal of freedom in what you write. Thank you! Asdklf; (talk) 01:43, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

editPlease do not add or change content, as you did to William Pennell, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. SummerPhD (talk) 19:15, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
You made a long string of unexplained edits to this article. Some of them might have been useful, others clearly were not:
- You added an unsourced birth date. To restore this material, you will need to cite a reliable source for the information.
- You added that "In 2013 Rowley retired from acting because he was stricken with an undisclosed illness. He recovered from his illness and is expected to be back in acting in 2014 thru 2016". In addition to needing a source for Rowley retiring, recovering and returning, the "back in acting in 2014 thru 2016" piece makes no obvious sense (will be returning sometime between now and 2016? will return in 2014 and retire again in 2016? is returning in 2014 with a contract to work through 2016?).
- You changed "Years active" to "1999-2013, 2014/2015/2016-present". 2014 is the present. We have no way of knowing he will be active in 2015 and 2016. "2016-present" is nonsensical.
- You started to add that he "died" next month[1], then decided he died last year[2], then decided he's still working[3], oh and he did not die from cancer in 2013[4].
As a precaution, I have reverted all of your edits to this page and will be reverting any/all unexplained and/or questionable edits you have made. - SummerPhD (talk) 19:30, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
