Category suppression needed at User:Pipinoiltop/sandbox

edit

Hi. Just a friendly reminder about user page categorization.

I've noticed a user page of yours (linked above) is appearing in regular content categories. See for example Category:National records in swimming under S. This is discouraged. See WP:DRAFTNOCAT and WP:USERNOCAT for additional information.

Usually the situation is remedied by placing a leading colon at the beginning of each category declaration like so:

Scottish
Swimming
etc...

or, preferably, by bracketing the category declarations with Template:Draft categories like this:

Either method will disable the category function. Thank you. Cheers! --DB1729talk 03:51, 20 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello again. I went ahead and took care of the above issue myself.[1] If/when the page is moved to mainspace, the categories will automatically become active. Just remember to remove the suppression code after the page is moved, as it will no longer serve any function. Happy editing! DB1729talk 03:29, 21 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

American Samoa at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, American Samoa at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Swimming at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Qualification, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Henrik Christiansen and Guilherme Costa. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
