Aristocratic writings

edit

Your article was deleted, but I kept a copy of it if you want it to work from. The current state is well below the standards for an article. I suggest you slow down and look around some, work on small thing, before attempting such an ambitious article. Herostratus (talk) 01:48, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Kristen Stewart short film

Hi. Please take a look at WP:MOSFILM. You keep adding lots of irrelevant information. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 06:55, 23 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Can you please read the above link and also stop adding random rubbish to the article per this diff. If you continue to re-add this, you'll probably end up being blocked for edit warring. Please reply here to state you've understood this. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 18:23, 24 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

I've read your message, thanks. Plagktos (talk) 20:37, 25 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

You've read it, but you continue to ignore the info at WP:MOSFILM. You keep adding all kinds of fan cruft and other rubbish to the article. Please stop. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 08:14, 29 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

The work seems more an art-work in the sense of Video art, which indicated the manual of style isn't altogether applicable Plagktos (talk) 12:21, 29 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Linking

edit

I reverted you here per WP:Overlinking and per the fact that we should not link to disambiguation pages unless it's in WP:Hatnote. See WP:Disambiguation. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 21:43, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

I see; orifice or introitus are unusual words, they would be unknowable to an everyday reader Plagktos (talk) 21:52, 30 May 2017 (UTC) the links don't fulfill the critria of OVERLINK, unless I missed something you want to highlight, and I was unaware the destination of either of the two was a disambiguation, so the second reason for revert is not applicable, since the link might be correctly destinated Plagktos (talk) 21:55, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
How is linking orifice or introitus needed when the article clearly states "the vaginal opening (orifice or introitus)"? The reader is told right there that these two terms mean "opening." The Introitus article, which is tiny, will not be telling readers anything new as far as the vagina goes. It is currently only composed of two sentences. And one of those sentences states, "The vaginal introitus is the opening that leads to the vaginal canal." Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 22:44, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
ok I'm looking at the links to verify Plagktos (talk) 22:50, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Body orifice is an article which expands on the subject from orifice, Introitus is not only specific to the vagina, and therefore would be helpfully linked to indicate as such. Plagktos (talk) 22:52, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
It is not needed in the least. The Body orifice article states, "A body orifice is any opening in the body of an animal." All readers need to know about orifice or introitus in regard to the vagina is that it is an opening -- a vaginal opening. And like I stated, this is already abundantly clear to anyone who reads that sentence. They do not need to know about any other body orifices, although I'm certain they are aware of all of their body orifices. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 23:02, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
no way to know what a generic they (cover-all for a set of people, the number of which is increasing and is an unknowable number) - who you cannot know the knowledge of, as to whether they do or don't know such-and-such or anything else you presume, assume they might or might not. Also with respect to what they do and don't need to know ("They do not need to know about other any other body orifices...") in your mind they don't but actually people have many various and unknowable motivations for wanting to know things, and the various charachteristics of individuals determines different alignments to a subject, such that, what any one individual might not need to know, another, might instead, as a matter of fact, need to know. Plagktos (talk) 23:11, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Seeing your discussion with Lugnuts above and your arguments to me above, it is clear that you do not listen. You are wrong on this matter per my arguments. And I am not going to waste the community's time on this by debating you any further (such as asking others to weigh in). That is, unless you WP:Edit war. I removed the text for now. "Problem" solved. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 23:28, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
That is fine I'm not wanting the links especially, I appreciate your restraint on the issue under discussion and have no intention to initiate any kind of editorial conflict viz Edit war. Thanks for the discussion. The best of things to be with you 22 and yours, in the future Plagktos (talk) 23:33, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
