Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:03, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

MapReduce
editHi, as you may see I undid your edits on MapReduce. The reason was that it seemed to be strongly influenced by your personal opinion. In Wikipedia we want the articles to be neutral (click the link to learn more). That doesn't mean we ignore conflicts on a subject.
However, we want to present all published opinions on a subject, according to their importance, without passing judgement.
For the MapReduce article, that you cannot write "X and Y criticised it, because they didn't understand" - that would be your personal point of view (POV).
What you could write is something like "XXX argued that the criticism is invalid because" or "XXX argued that this criticism comes from a misunderstanding" - if XXX is someone who published an opinion in a widely-read source (e.g. someone's personal blog doesn't usually count, unless it's a famous one).
Hope that helps. Averell (talk) 08:43, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
