Hello, Plbds, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that some of your recent edits show an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.

Problems with upload of File:East-17-band (1).jpg

Thanks for uploading File:East-17-band (1).jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

I'm the one who should be thanking you for the hint. Anyway, i actually uploaded that same image on pdf fom my computer, however I was told that pdf would cause security issues, so I uploaded in jpg, but i forgot to give information about it. Sorry for that, and also if my english is too broken, it is not my firt language Plbds (talk) 16:11, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

Plus that is a image that i found on the internet that I saved in my computer. I really don't know if that counts as a copyright and I'm sorry once again if I'm editing articles on wikipedia without proper clue. Plbds (talk) 16:17, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:East-17-band (1).jpg

I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Once again, thank you for the advice. If my rationale is somehow easily refutable, and I am making any kind of editing which i do not have experience to do so, therefore the rightest thing to do is to delete the image. If I legitimately owned any image, one which is actually my property, i might have had the right to edit. if that is the case, if my editing is not acceptable, so fix this problem in the way required. Is there any examples of website where I can take the images from os I will not be infringing the image use policy? Or should I take pictures by myself? Is there any way I can claim the ownership or right of an image found on the internet? If that is the case, how do i do? Do I have to be in touch with the person who took the photo or own the image? And if I can, how am I able to amke contact with them? How do I get the right to use the images? Plbds (talk) 16:19, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

You uploaded this image as non-free content. Non-free content is allowed only if it meets all of the non-free content criteria. In the case of this file, you did not provide a non-free usage rationale as required to meet WP:NFCC#10c. The image used was from Getty Images, a commercial photo agency who makes their money licensing their images. This fails to meet WP:NFCC#2, and is the reason the image has been speedily deleted. The image also fails to meet WP:NFCC#1 as the image is replaceable with a freely licensed images from c:Category:East 17 on Commons. As for your specific questions, an image must be freely licensed; Creative Commons Search can help find content with appropriate licenses acceptable for Wikipedia. If you take a picture yourself, you are the copyright holder and can upload it Wikipedia (or preferably Commons) under a free license of your choosing. You cannot claim ownership or copyright of things you find on the Internet. If you don't know the copyright status of an image you find on the Internet, the safest thing to do is not upload it because most things you find are copyrighted. I don't have any advice on contacting image copyright holders but if you do, they can donate their image to Wikipedia. Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright provides more informationabout copyright on Wikipedia. Copyrights and images on Wikipedia can be confusing. Reliable sources that describes genres of songs

I noticed some pages about songs here on wikipedia are not specifying the genres of the songs, and when I was going to edit it, thre was a phrase there highlighted saying "Do not add unsourced genres". I would like to understand why i cannot edit the genre of the song without sourcing it, because in the same pages in other languages, the genre is noted but there is no source at all.
