Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
edit Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from List of One Piece characters into Usopp. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 23:43, 29 April 2022 (UTC)

Red-Haired Shanks
editI just improved Red-Haired Shanks Wikipedia page. And i will improve it more in the future. As for his image that you uploaded, the wikimedia user had changed it size and it became blurred.
If you want to upload a better picture of Shanks, you can use this image instead: https://64.media.tumblr.com/637b1373f5f883560d39cdafa11554bc/d3b3da5b430f99f9-a6/s2048x3072/ce69942c8fbc5a397db310086e1c31df0ed75438.jpg Selenne (talk) 15:59, 30 April 2022 (UTC)

It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you. BloatedBun (talk) 22:03, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, I did post neutral canvassing posts according to the rules you underlined. Thank you. --Plumber (talk) 22:05, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Shanks.png
editThank you for uploading File:Shanks.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Also:
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Shanks Plushie.png
editThanks for uploading File:Shanks Plushie.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:46, 4 May 2022 (UTC)

"that" vs. "which"
editI reverted your good-faith edit in United States. There's a distinction in American English between these two relative pronouns. Also, in this case, "that" avoids two successive uses of "which" (used after a comma, with a clause) in the same sentence. Mason.Jones (talk) 23:48, 5 October 2022 (UTC)

December 2023
editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Tom Bradley. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. CS1 error on Rashida Tlaib

- A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 19:41, 8 January 2024 (UTC)

editYour recent editing history at Democratic Party (United States) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You have reverted two times in the last handful of hours. If you revert an additional time, you'll have hit 3RR. I would advise you not to do this. Toa Nidhiki05 05:15, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
Please obtain consensus for Trump v. US
editAs you yourself noted in your edit summary, other editors have removed your addition to the article. I have also removed the addition as it is questionable whether it is due for inclusion. Under WP:ONUS, please self revert and take your proposal to the talk page. KiharaNoukan (talk) 00:13, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you, we appear to have achieved consensus using an article from The Hill. --Plumber (talk) 08:43, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

editPlease don't edit war over your addition. The map that you added is clearly unsourced and your attempt to add some bibliography to it after it was challenged won't change that or the fact that we don't need to resort to WP:OR when we have many properly sourced maps to choose from. M.Bitton (talk) 14:31, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
- You are the one engaging in an edit war. The bibliography was assembled by the creator of the map. This map is more well-designed and sourced than the others on the page and its addition to the page enlightens. This behavior of yours is highly irregular for a sysop. Satō–Kishi–Abe family moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Satō–Kishi–Abe family. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 14:58, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
