Hello Plwnt, welcome to Wikipedia. Because information on Wikipedia needs to be WP:verifiable, you need to WP:cite WP:reliable sources in order to add or change information on an article. إيان (talk) 13:24, 7 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Morocco>Algeria

edit

Hey, Plwnt! You've used this source at Caliente (dish) to change "is a savory pie consumed in Morocco" to "is an Algerian pie"; the source calls it Karantika, and it doesn't say that it isn't consumed in Morocco, just that it's popular in Algeria, where "the people claim their version is the best". In the same edit you removed all mention of Gibralter, where it's considered a national dish, along with the reliable source backing that up; removed a citation needed tag; without a source changed paprika to harissa; and in your edit summary said "cultural appropriation". On the talk page you again referenced cultural appropriation and argued that "It's not used in Morocco you can check they only knew about it in 2019 and still don't know how to make it properly, there's no debate about it, it's Algerian street food" and "there's not a single original old moroccan source", which of course is not possible to know. At Karantika, you've been making unsourced or poorly sourced additions and have removed mention that it similar dishes are known in other mediterranean countries. This feels very much like you have a non-neutral point of view on this food item.

You need to discuss these things at the talk page. Valereee (talk) 11:44, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

You are just giving more reasons for cultural appropriation, the book talks about Maghreb food , if it existed they would've mentioned it, instead I brought many sources that says it is Algerian yet all I saw is new moroccan sources (2019/2023) that are made by Moroccan websites, we consume pizza in all over the World that doesn't make it a national traditional dish Plwnt (talk) 12:11, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please try to assume good faith; it's required here per WP:AGF.
It doesn't really matter that you believe this to be cultural appropriation, we still need reliable sources for changes, additions, etc. And we need reasons to remove sourced content, and other editors have to agree with those reasons. Please start using edit summaries and rather than edit-warring, discuss changes you believe should be made on the articles' talk pages. Valereee (talk) 17:12, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
It's not my belief it is a fact but whatever people now know that Wikipedia ain't a reliable source and nothing else but this page can be found about it being moroccan so good luck with your cultural appropriation Plwnt (talk) 20:23, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

At this point wikipedia is controlled by lies, where's the administration from the fake historical lies that are being spread on this site, and why does it benefit some groups who are using nothing but their fake articles and try to hide and delete the edits that uses historical books?
