editWhat you need to do is write the article in a neutral and encyclopedic tone that doesn't sound like it was cut and pasted from his own EPK, which cites reliable sources that cover him in a significant and non-trivial way (i.e. articles about him in newspapers or magazines, etc.) If that's done properly, the article is allowed to stand. If you need some guidance on how to get the right writing tone, check out a few of our other articles on musicians in Category:Biography (musicians) articles by quality, especially the A, B, FA and GA class groups, and try to emulate that style if you can. For what it's worth, though, the original article had already been tagged as an "advertisement" for about a year before I ever saw it — so I'm not the only person who thought the original article wasn't appropriate for Wikipedia as written.
