iPod

If the Wired article was "a complete fabrication", I'm afraid you're going to have to provide a source proving it. Thank you. AlistairMcMillan 08:53, 6 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Podfather, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. Check out the Simplified Ruleset. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at the Guide to layout, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. I notice you have removed the "Wired" article link from the iPod entry in the past. If you feel this link is inappropriate, please discuss on the article's Talk page before removing again. David Oberst 22:50, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can you please visit Talk:IPod and explain why you're repeatedly removing the link to the Wired News story? Are you accusing them of fabricating the story? Why do you say it's nonsense? Unless you discuss your edits, you won't succeed in effecting much change here at Wikipedia. Rhobite 23:08, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Again, please provide details justifying removal of the Wired article other than simple, unsupported assertions that it is "fabricated", "nonsense" or "inaccurate". As this account's contributions have been solely to remove this link, it is obvious you have something against it, but if you don't provide some sort of reasoning on the Talk page, your continued removals simply appear as vandalism. Can you point out any specific claims in the Wired article which conflict with other articles? I looked at a few other articles about the development of the iPod and I don't see any huge contradictions. You'll have to be more specific with your complaints. Are you saying that Wired fabricated an interview with Knauss, or are you saying that Knauss lied? Rhobite 13:03, 19 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Jon Rubinstein

If you want that content in the Rubinstein article, it needs to be sourced. It also needs to be re-write to sound more encyclopedic. Statements like "Jobs made Rubinstein the Podfather" aren't encyclopedic. AlistairMcMillan (talk) 12:57, 28 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
