Invitation to join New pages patrol
Hello Poirot09!
- The New Pages Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles needing review. We could use a few extra hands to help.
- We think that someone with your activity and experience is very likely to meet the guidelines for granting.
- Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time, but it requires a strong understanding of Wikipedia’s CSD policy and notability guidelines.
- Kindly read the tutorial before making your decision, and feel free to post on the project talk page with questions.
- If patrolling new pages is something you'd be willing to help out with, please consider applying here.
Thank you for your consideration. We hope to see you around!

Flynn Rider age
Hello Poirot09. Can you please elaborate on the undo on the Age section? Flynn's age is relevant to the character and story and the references are (1) the movie and (2) episodes of Rapunzel's adventure. Do we normally require a second reliable source? Thanks and keep up the good work. Magicthemes (talk) 16:31, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Magicthemes Flynn's age is not relevant for his story, it's only mentioned in passing, and yes we usually require secondary reliable sources to decide what to include or not. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a collection of all facts about characters. Poirot09 (talk) 16:34, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks @Poirot09, Flynn's age becomes relevant as his story arc unfolds in the later episodes of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, which follow the movie. It's linked to his background and to his father, who reveals Flynn's age. Flynn is unaware of his age before this. Beyond the movie and episodes, what would be a reliable source? Thanks again. Magicthemes (talk) 00:05, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Magicthemes See WP:SECONDARY (basically an article from a reliable publication). Poirot09 (talk) 17:49, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the link, which states a reliable source is needed if the information is challenged or likely to be challenged. Since Flynn Rider’s age is stated clearly in the series episodes, after his confusion over his age, there’s no debate here. Even if a reliable source is needed, it is the work itself (i.e. the movie and 2 episodes) Magicthemes (talk) 00:14, 9 March 2024 (UTC)

Max Miller (YouTuber)
Hi. You recently reverted my addition of Miller's Twitter, and the reason you gave was WP:NOSOCIAL. You seem to be an experienced user of this site so I wanted to clarify my misunderstandings. Doesn't the top of WP:NOSOCIAL say Except for a link to an official page of the article's subject
, which is true for the Twitter page? But WP:ELMIN says to provide only one such link, which we already do in the infobox, so it is still correct to remove it. Mokadoshi (talk) 01:29, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Mokadoshi An "official page" is generally understood as an actual website dedicated to the topic, not a social media page. Social medias have always been removed on Wikipedia in my experience. Poirot09 (talk) 06:29, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying! Appreciate it. Mokadoshi (talk) 20:19, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
Reversion of Il cielo in una stanza (song)
Hi, you recently reverted my addition to the 'Cover Versions' category of this entry. I am a very infrequent editor and I hope you can help me understand how to improve my effort to add a timely and interesting new use/cover of the song (in the Netflix series 'Ripley').
Thank you! Dashingjack (talk) 16:39, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, you need to add a reliable source to verify the info. The video you added is not a reliable source (since it's user-generated) and doesn't reference the song's inclusion in the series. I see that another user has left a welcome template on your talk page, check that for more info if you wish to continue editing Wikipedia. Poirot09 (talk) 16:47, 6 April 2024 (UTC)

Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed.
If you would like to learn more about rules and scoring for the 2024 WikiCup, please see this page. Further questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges (Cwmhiraeth (talk · contribs), Epicgenius (talk · contribs), and Frostly (talk · contribs)) are reachable on their talk pages. Black.noir isnt a supervillain just a fake image superhero. Supervillain is one who shows he is evil ,doesnt hide it . Whybyou keep stating Black noir is supervillain isnt not elligible 46.70.32.23 (talk) 22:45, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- You can remove the term supervillain, just be careful not to hide the whole page like you have done before. Poirot09 (talk) 05:32, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
Season 3 air date of The Legend of Vox Machina
Hi! You deleted my changes on "The Legend of Vox Machina" page. The information I got was from their official youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCmiaV3Lxm4 . I'm struggling to add that reference. KorrektneSisestus (talk) 09:51, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- Dont worry, it was readded by another editor with the ref. If you want to learn more about Wikipedia and how to add citations, check out the Welcome message I left on your talk page. Poirot09 (talk) 10:04, 11 June 2024 (UTC)

Hi Poirot09! Just wanted to gauge your interest in submitting NewJeans discography as a featured list candidate, seeing as you are the main editor - it looks to be in great shape, and I have a feeling that it would pass with flying colors over at FLC. I can always help out if you're up for it, but of course if you're not interested, that's totally fine; just wanted to put forth the idea! joeyquism (talk) 19:56, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Joeyquism Hi, sure, I'd like to work on it! I think it might be best to wait until September since I've been (and am still) pretty busy this summer. However, if you already have suggestions on eventual improvements feel free to leave them here. I'd really appreciate the help and I might find some time here and there to work on the article. Poirot09 (talk) 20:52, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
- Awesome! There's absolutely no rush; I'm also expecting to be very busy in the coming month, so don't stress yourself out over any non-existent deadlines. As far as improvements that could be made - I think the only one that I can come up with right now is that the lead should incorporate some background on who NewJeans are (a couple of sentences - perhaps even just one seems to be standard? - about their formation and their members would suffice). I believe Girls' Generation discography is the only other featured K-pop discography, so of course feel free to reference that for other aspects of the article. Otherwise, the sourcing is great and the information included is looking comprehensive. I'd love to be able to get NewJeans up to FL with you; they're my (and very likely everyone else's) favorite 4th gen group so far! joeyquism (talk) 04:07, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Ok thanks! Looking forward to working with you. Poirot09 (talk) 10:00, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
