- Hi.
- I do not understand what gives you or any other Wikipedia moderator the right to decide who is and isn't notable (when notability is in the eye of the beholder), based on whether someone wrote about them or not.
- I have seen several eSports and TCG players on this site with very minimal credible sources.
- For example, a Korean TCG player has 3 of their sources as a Korean blog website. I looked into it, they are practically unknown in Korea, let alone the rest of the world.
- "they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject"
- So, to be notable you HAVE to have an article written about you?
- Did you know before the internet or TV or newspapers, people would still do notable things and it was only after they were discovered that they became notable?
- By that same logic, for you to stop me becoming discoverable, you are stopping me becoming notable.
- I have made accomplishments, of which I can provide PHYSICAL evidence of in the form of photos / medals / trophies, but just because I wasn't mentioned on a website or blog, means I didn't accomplish anything of note?
- Your logic is flawed... massively.
- I am submitting a biographical page, with as much evidence that exists on the internet as I can (and I am continiously looking / reaching out to people who may have them)
- I have submitted 2 photos and can provide more from other events.
- I have written the article in non-biased language and only covered the facts.
- Why should others who have accomplished similar things get pages, just because their name appears in an article or two and I cannot? Pokemon World Champ (talk) 19:59, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
