Pompous Retail
Hi - regarding Greg Wells’s Wiki page, we are aware it’s not for promotion and simply want accurate facts listed. You have said he is also known as Silias Loder. He recorded a record in 1995 that was never commercially released, and the name of the record was Silas Loder, not Silias Loder. To edit Wikipedia and say that Wells is known as a misspelled unreleased album title is a headscratcher. You have changed Wells’ album sales from 130 million to 13 million. Another baseless headscratcher. He is professionally known as, and has always been called since birth, Greg Wells. You can list his full given birth name but should also acknowledge that his Grammy award says Greg Wells and every credit he’s ever had says Greg Wells. Let’s please resolve this amicably. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 45.49.229.25 (talk) 17:26, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 16
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1998 Minnesota gubernatorial election, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Third party (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

editHello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kodak Black, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:17, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in discussions about infoboxes and to edits adding, deleting, collapsing, or removing verifiable information from infoboxes. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

editPlease do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Wayfair. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with being blocked from editing, or other sanctions. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Your edits falsely portray a false conspiracy theory as a "conspiracy" and remove reliably-sourced descriptions of the claims as false. This is disruptive and will lead to sanctions. Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Trey Songz, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Kehlani
editPlease do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Kehlani. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:04, 18 August 2020 (UTC)

Bare URLs
editHi Pompous Retail. I refer to your edit here: [1]. Please don't use Bare URLs on Wikipedia for reasons as explained at Wikipedia:Bare URLs.
Also as I've mentioned on that articles talk page, the list isn't a collection of everyone who has been able to get media coverage of a prediction, it's a collection of notable predictions and predictions from notable people. The Begley prediction is neither, so it doesn't belong. Damien Linnane (talk) 07:17, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi again. I refer to this edit: [2]. While it's certainly better than nothing to include the article's title (rather than just the Bare URL), it's best if you include as much detail about the source as possible, including information such as the date of publication and the author. It's best to use an approved format like Template:Cite web, and fill out as many parameters as possible (sometimes you won't be able to fill out everything, for example if an article isn't attributed to a particular staff member, but fill out as much as you can.)
- As per WP:COMMONNAME, please refer to people by their commonly used names, not their birth names. Don't pipe 'Bryson Potts' to NLE Choppa, just call him NLE Choppa period.
- Most importantly, please read WP:Original research. The source you used doesn't appear to mention anything about DNA or make comparisons between this so called 'new earth' and the Christian rapture. Please just stick to the details in the actual sources you provide, without adding your own opinions on what they mean. I'd argue this prediction isn't of an apocalyptic event anyway though. He doesn't clarify what the 'new earth' is, or what not making it there means exactly. Do those of us 'left behind' die or just continue living as we have been? That question is rhetorical, as it essentially doesn't matter what either of our opinions on the matter is. The source needs to be clear that we're talking about an apocalyptic event, otherwise I'd argue it's unusable. Damien Linnane (talk) 22:35, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
