Speedy deletion nomination of Rebecca Prichard

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rebecca Prichard requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WuhWuzDat 07:20, 12 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Penetrator (play) for deletion

edit

A discussion has begun about whether the article Penetrator (play), which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Penetrator (play) until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. WuhWuzDat 07:35, 12 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I know what I said on the article's talk page, but you aren't really obligated to justify the link in the edit summary if you're going to post in the next two minutes. That was more for if it's going to be hours, if you're adding a link to an article you just started making. If you check the edit history, it took me 6 hours to revert them the last time, and I based that on the fact that A) it was 6 hrs, B) there were 5 links, C) Bob's Burger's isn't The Simpsons or Family Guy, and the interest in creating these individual show article isn't as intense, D) you, who added the links, then only added a category to an existing show page, then signed off, and E) the other guy, Greg Xavier, hadn't edited in 3 days. I don't think anybody (I can promise for myself) is going to swoop in and revert a red link in 2 minutes, and if even one of those red links had gone blue in those 6 hrs, I would have waited it out; it's generally assumed that a red link means someone's working on something, at least until nothing happens. I don't want to make too much work for you. >.o KnownAlias X 11:01, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for clarifying. I'm still learning the ropes around here, but I'm glad to see people are willing to take the time to make things clear. Much appreciated. Postmeta (talk) 13:08, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Lucifer (Of the Wand & the Moon album)

edit

The article Lucifer (Of the Wand & the Moon album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of meeting the notability guidelines at WP:NALBUM

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Tavix (talk) 14:08, 23 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
