Your experience with Wikipedia so far
editHello Poveglia,
I am conducting research about newcomers to Wikipedia and I was hoping to ask you some questions. I’ve noticed you’ve had some good activity recently. Is there any chance you have time in the next month to speak with me? If you are interested or have any questions, please email me at gmugar [at] syr.edu or leave a message on my talk page.
I hope to be in touch soon,
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity
editHello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
Weird edit troll
editHi Poveglia! Please do not pretend to be an editor or administrator, and threaten people with blocks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Blocking_policy. Thanks for adhering to wikipedia policy! :)

- Yeah, thanks. I created the article. And, five minutes later, you are trying to get it deleted. Again, thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 03:12, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 13
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Spirit of America (charity), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Media (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:34, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
Attack page
editHello, Poveglia,
I saw the user page that you had tagged as an "attack page" by Joseph A. Spadaro. To me, it looked like it consisted almost entirely of copies of discussions he has had with you and others along with a claim that you were stalking him. Editors have the right to compile this sort of content for a limited amount of time for the purposes of filing a complaint. Not indefinitely. So, I have asked him to either file a complaint in the next two weeks and then blank the page or it will be deleted.
I also saw that you have asked him to not post on your talk page and, personally, I think if you keep some distance between the two of you, no complaint will be produced or if it is filed, it is likely no action will be taken. It would help if you didn't check over his contributions unless you wished to file a complaint regarding his behavior. Liz Read! Talk! 19:11, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- All I can say is that IAR does not and should not apply to CIR. Poveglia (talk) 14:28, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
BLP discretionary sanctions alert
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
