Cao Đài

edit

Greetings! I hope you won't mind but I deleted these two pictures at Cao Đài: [1]. They were both over-sized, as well as their positioning broke the text. Perhaps you can have another look at it? =P Cheers! Jayaguru-Shishya (talk) 19:30, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Can you also help fix it? I tried yesterday, but have not found a solution yet. Can you also point me to a manual of image editing in Wiki? There are quite some more photos i need to upload. Thanks
Actually, I think way too many photos is the reason for the problem. Naturally, it is very hard to find a decent spot for a photograph if the article is already jam-packed with photos. Jayaguru-Shishya (talk) 17:35, 25 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Well, I think photos are essential to this article because they function as visual clues, and an integral part of the religion. Almost all of their concepts and doctrines are engraved into statues, paintings and all. There are many hidden doctrines and concepts in those items waiting to be discovered as well.

Also, there are many visual thinkers, and these photos will help them digest/ analyze faster. I am a visual thinker myself so cannot underestimate their importance.

Really appreciate if we can work together on this. I still have a ton to post and many ref/ info source to add as well. Thanks Jayaguru.
Can you give some intro about yourself and your interest in this artcile? Just so we can work well together:)
I will give you an introduction after I have given an introduction about myself on my User page, but that won't propably be in the near future :-) Let's just say that I am editing quite a broad range of different articles in Wikipedia, not just religion-based only.
Anyway, I think too much is too much, but if you believe in adding more photos, perhaps you can consider about a separate "Gallery" -section (e.g. Linux#Components and installation), or one at the end of the article (e.g. Desktop environment#Gallery). I am not sure if there is any exact policy though, I just have been editing those articles on a different language version of Wikipedia. Well, I can tell you that I won't revert your addition of pictures on the article (unless they mess up the whole appearance like the previous two), I'll just leave that to the judgement of others. =P Cheers! External media on Wikipedia

edit

Hi Ppn vn! How are you? I noticed that you were inserting links to external images at Cao Đài. I sought for a second opinion, and I was hinted with this: Template:External media. I think it might help with your look, so perhaps better take a look at it! ;-) Cheers!
