License tagging for Image:Gladiatus.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Gladiatus.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Gladiatus

Hey there.

Good job fleshing out the article, but there's still something critically missing to stave off deletion for good: coverage by independent, reliable sources to establish sufficient notability for inclusion.

While simple press releases or reviews are rarely sufficient by themselves, you might want to find news coverage of the game. Especially if it supports a large number of players, or notable popularity. I note the game is a translation-- perhaps there is coverage in german (which, if I understand, is the original language)? Players of the german version might be able to help you there.

Well, I'm not familiar with the game itself, so it's not easy for me to help there. Have you found new articles talking about the game? Those tend to be a good starting point.

As an aside, I've change the copyright status tag on Image:Gladiatus.JPG. You had (erroneously) tagged it as free when it even has a copyright in the image. In this case, since it was used to illustrate an article on the game itself, it was better tagged as fair use of a web screenshot (which I did). — Coren ^(talk) 16:04, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, the best guide on how to provide references can be found in the citing sources guidelines. But if you can't figure it out, don't sweat it overmuch. Just add a references section in the article and place links and explanation there. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Gladiatus.JPG)
