- The sources are mainly the wiki entries for Alexander (ship 178x) and for Laperouse himself. I will tomorrow see how I can add those links.
- Please do not remove the text, add 'citation needed' if you must.
- I represent the head of the Laperouse family - who opened the Laperouse Museum at La Perouse (suburb of Sydney) and the Laperouse Monument at Maui.
- The article on the rescue mission failing to mention where the wrecks were found is a hopeless situation.
