Regarding your questions on citation formats, you can find much of what you need here [1]

Also, as a quick way to do this, you can just look elsewhere in the article for a citation that looks good, and then copy and paste it to where you want it to be, filling in the information for the article you want to cite. Now I remember what I have done for other articles. I clicked on "Cite" on the Talk page, filled in the template that pops up, copied it on a "temporary" Talk item, and then pasted it on the edit page. New_Jersey_v._Dharun_Ravi article

There is an editing dispute what Ravi did and was indicted for.
Here is my edit:
The charges stemmed from incidents on September 19 and 21, 2010 in which Ravi pointed his webcam at Ravi's college roommate's bed twice during dates and the second time told 150 of his friends how to view it.

LedRush wants "The charges stemmed from incidents on September 19 and 21, 2010 in which Ravi used his webcam to view his college roommate kissing another man and told 150 of his friends how to view it. "

The second viewing and telling "everyone" to watch is what got Mr. Ravi indicted on the invasion of privacy charges. Here are the relevant edits:

• (What he did)
• (it is disputed it the camera was ever pointed at the bed)
• (It is undisputed he pointed the camera there twice. Ravi claims he later moved the camera away but does not dispute he pointed the camera there)
• (let's get down to the real issue)

I have warned Javaweb against WP:Canvassing, but seeing as it is likely that you will edit that article anyway, I ask only that you do not bring a WP:Battleground mentality there as it appears that SGMD1 and the other editors working on the article are willing to do so ina collaborative manner. I already explained this to you but since you are bringing it up again, I need to repeat myself again. I was pretty sure that Tryptofish and ProfSpeak weren't aware that the new, nearly identical article topic page was active since you had not edited there. As one of the only 2 active editors I knew of on the nearly identical Clementi page not editing the Trial page, I contacted both of them directly. I was concerned that just writing to the Talk page with all of its voluminous text would not get their attention as much as writing to their pages and they would not be aware that an nearly identical article had been published. --Javaweb (talk) 21:05, 15 May 2012 (UTC)Javaweb

Reversion on Trial Article

Profspeak, in this edit [2], you reverted many edits of mine, including re-adding the POV tag, reintroducing grammatical mistakes, and making other changes with which you might not agree. Would you mind self-reverting and then making only the specific edits you want to make? If you are worried that it is too difficult to get to the version of the article you like, you can click on the version of the article before I edited, and then hit the edit button. You can then copy any section that I touched that you disagree with and paste that into the current version of the article. If you have any issues, I'd be happy to help.
