Energy policy of Russia

edit

Hi Proletarskaya. In general, you may edit everything you find necessary to fix or improve, so feel free to add an information. There are several policies, most importantly the information should be presented from the neutral point of view (see: WP:NPOV), no original research (WP:OR) and all hard data and facts,as does anything that might sound like an opinion or be challenged, need a inline citation (see WP:V; WP:RS and WP:CS). To create reference, put reference text between <ref> and </ref>. The simplest reference looks like this:<ref>[http://en.wikipedia.org/ Wikipedia]</ref>, howeverit is better to use more sophisticated references based on citation templates (see: Wikipedia:Citation templates). Using template, you have to include at least the url and name of the reference, but it's better to include all available information, like author, date, access date, etc. For general edits' format please see also WP:MOS.

Any potentially controversial edit or significant change of the existing article has to be discussed at the talk page. Also, removing text (excluding plain vandalism) needs discussion beforehand.

If you have any more specific question, please feel free to ask. Beagel 06:29, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK, I'll make an effort to get that sorted. From what you've written, I assume my small changes to the Rosneft page were acceptpable. Is that correct?--Proletarskaya 16:08, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, these changes are ok. Beagel 17:10, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oil shale

edit

I would like to ask if you could assist with the information about current state of Russian oil shale industry. Is it correct that currently there is no industrial mining and extraction of oil shale? I understand that oil shale industry in Slantsy is closed. Is there any plan to re-start production? Any other oil shale industry in Russia? Beagel 06:29, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of the oil shale industry.

I can help with recent events affecting the oil and gas industry in Russia, and especially events surrounding the major players, Gazprom, Rosneft, Lukoil, Transneft et al. I also have some knowledge about the developing Associated Petroleum Gas policy of the Russian Federation.--Proletarskaya 16:02, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
