Possible COI
editHi Prp132, if you work for a PR firm, such as for example Edelman (firm), it is possible that you may have a conflict of interest if you edit any articles about, or relating to, your firm's clients. See WP:COI for more information. DuncanHill (talk) 23:10, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
Morning DuncanHill. The Walbrook Club does not employ a PR or ad agency. Edelman does not represent the Club. I am merely interning at Edelman - until the end of the month. Do you have an email address, so that we can continue this conversation? And so that I can explain why The Walbrook should be on that list, and renew my invitation to tour you around the Club?
- Do you perhaps have some other connexion to the club - a business development role perhaps, or a close familial relationship to the founder? DuncanHill (talk) 07:51, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
Morning - I have both. My grandfather built it while my family and I are involved. We therefore know the Club better than anyone else. I renew my offer.
- Yes, I had worked out who you are! And that is why you should declare your interest in the club, and refrain from editing the article (or closely related articles) yourself. Please read our guidance on conflicts of interest. By the way, on talk pages (like this one) it's a good idea to sign your posts with ~~~~ (four tildes) - this generates a signature and timestamp, which helps everyone keep track of conversations. I see what you mean, though everything I have edited has been based on fact and not perception. To that end there is no conflict since I can support and evidence everything that I have written/claimed, including to the question of whether The Walbrook constitutes a 'club' or not, which again I can easily provide an informed answer to.
