Follow up on International Peace Operations Association article

edit

Psychlohexane, thanks for keeping an eye on the IPOA article. I think the first step is to leave a message on the talk page for the IP address of the user making these changes. Be polite and ask them to explain their changes to the IPOA article on the talk page of that article. If they ignore your message and keep on making the changes without discussing them on the IPOA talk page, then you have documented your concerns and their lack of response. If you pursue this course and don't get a response, then I would be willing to also leave comments on their page. Once we have both pursued conversation with 72.245.122.65 we can look into options like Wikipedia:Requests for comment#Request comment on users. Ultimately blanking sections of an article without any explanation is considered vandalism.

P.S. You can start a new section on my talk page for this conversation. That makes it easier for me to spot. mennonot (talk) 13:27, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Moose

edit

I've reverted your edit. You seem to be arguing that the moose is not among the largest animals in the entire world which is not what the sentence you removed actually said. "the moose is the second largest of extant terrestrial wildlife after the bisons in North America, Siberia and Europe." It could probably be worded better but I read that as claiming it is among the largest animals in North America, Siberia, and Europe. which it certainly is. @Beeblebrox: Totally fair - I see now that that sentence can be parsed two different ways and I was parsing it incorrectly. The intended parsing didn't even occur to me - mostly because I checked the ref next to "Siberia", which only supported the claim that there are bison in Siberia, haha. I'll disambiguate the reverted sentence. Psychlohexane (talk) 03:19, 18 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
