Introduction
editHey, my name is Randy and I'm a sophomore majoring in history and minoring in public policy. I love chocolate, reading the news, and engaging in spirited debate. I'm excited to be a research apprentice and can't wait to explore pressing privacy topics in lab this semester. --Privacy4353 (talk) 07:39, 14 February 2019 (UTC)

Berkeley links in Neuroprivacy
editI replaced many Berkeley links in Neuroprivacy with DOIs and other universal locators. The Berkeley links are only available from inside the Berkeley network and not globally. —Chris Capoccia (talk) 18:56, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for catching that! Appreciate it. I thought I had only moved a part of my article out of the sandbox but apparently I moved it all. -QuixoticWindmills (talk) 06:07, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
Response
editHi, I took a look at what happened. Here's an overview of the timeline, as well as an explanation as to what happened:
You moved your sandbox work live, an entire article with sourcing and all. You only wanted the introduction live, so you attempted to remove the other material. This ended up removing all of the other content, which included almost all of the sourcing. This may have been seen as an accident, however there were some issues with removing all of the content in that the lead by itself made for a fairly weak article with only one source that would be at a higher risk of deletion.
With the no wiki tag, I'm not sure where that would be - I don't see one in the article. In any case, these are typically added to articles when there's something that they don't want to show up in wikicode format. If someone was writing about something and needed to mention a URL address because it was important to the history of the topic, then they would use it so the URL doesn't turn into a live link. - Oh! Quick note - since this does brush up against health and psychology I'd like for you to take this training module. It's a little after the fact, but could still be helpful with further working on your article. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:49, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 28
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Security agency, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Britain (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:29, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
