re: wickety wak
is there any chance of getting some help on this? I have only written one article before and writing a work is not a forte of mine. Pga1965 (talk) 20:29, 30 March 2013 (UTC)
ok this is what I had written
Wickety Wak is band which started in 1975 doing parodies of other artists, notably Louis Armstrong, Kermit The Frog, The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton. The band disbanded in 1990, by ameinable agreement of the members, but due to public requests reformed again and still performs to this day. The members of the group are, Greg Doolan, Rob Rosenlund, Tony Jeffrey, Peter Mackay and deceased Pahnie Jantzen born about 1940 - died 28 march 2013(aged 73) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pga1965 (talk • contribs) 20:30, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

Re: Adrian Dix
Hi there,
Thanks for sending me the message re: my Adrian Dix edits. I would love to be able to cite the info, but have no idea how. Any links or tips would be great. I believe that this page should include as much information on Mr. Dix as possible and do not consider my actions vandalism.
Regards,
Michael. (24.86.231.206 (talk) 02:12, 7 April 2013 (UTC)) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.86.231.206 (talk) 02:09, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
- Any information added to the biographies of a living person must be cited as per Wikipedia policy on biographies of living persons. Any contentious material about a living person has to be attributable to a verifiable published source or the Wikimedia Foundation (Wikipedia's parent organisation) can face severe legal penalties. As for suggesting links, since you are the person adding the information it is your responsibility to provide evidence for the claims. If there is no evidence then the information cannot be added since it is original research.
- Additionally, please don't try to hide that you are re-adding information that was reverted by another editor by simply copying and pasting the other content from the page around it. RA0808 talkcontribs 02:24, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
- The material added was extremely POV and biased and gives only one-side of the many-sided story. This is campaign season, any POV material must be seen as partisan, perhaps p.r. agency, meddling and in this case anti-COI.....from the enemy camp. That as RA0808 notes this is identical to another recent attempt to add this, and previous related posts, suggests that even though you are posting as an IP user, this is something like a sockpuppet.....pretending to be another person trying to add the exact same material. Persist and your IP address should be blocked.Skookum1 (talk) 04:36, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
