Re:[Su-34]
Why hello there! I am writing here to you because of my edit of the Su-34 article. The provided source from Sputnik did not prove the current data on the site to be true and only states "The North African country "is likely to become the first of many new customers for the new long-range strike aircraft," defense analyst Dave Majumdar wrote for the National Interest." As proven by that, the decision was not really made and the current state of things only proves that Algeria in fact did not bought any of Su-34 strike-fighters as of yet, nor have them directly. The other source that may clarify why is that is this article https://medium.com/war-is-boring/the-algerian-su-34-is-a-myth-dba320792554 Have a nice day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.200.133.208 (talk) 16:09, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
Roman Reigns
Hello. My edit you deleted on Roman Reigns' wiki page, weren't they legit?I mean even youtubers reported fan's lethargy and disruptiveness;particularly their arguments with building officials who confiscated beachballs. Thanks for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 45.112.69.4 (talk) 16:12, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
- Hi and thanks for your message, normally whenever a change like that is made a reliable source is expected. An anecdote about a YouTube video is unfortunately not sufficient. Were there any blogs, magazine articles, etc about the disruptiveness? RA0808 talkcontribs 16:18, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
May I ask why you reverted my edits to the Sydney Grammar School page? They are all backed up by facts and evidence which I have spent hours upon hours fastidiously checking. Many other school pages also have much worse problems throughout like this one for instance https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hutchins_School which says without citing "the School boasts 23 Rhodes Scholars". Thanks Gogomannn1 (talk) 16:24, 22 August 2018 (UTC)gogomannn1
- @Gogomannn1: There were two issues here: one is that (even though it is cited) the tone of the edits was very promotional even though you may not intend them to be, and the other is that these edits have already been reverted multiple times... meaning that you are potentially in an edit war. At the moment I think it would be best for you to start a discussion at the article's talk page about your proposed changes so there are a few more eyes on the edits to help you with the tone issues. Then everyone wins, the article is improved and the tone/style are consistent with Wikipedia's guidelines. RA0808 talkcontribs 16:28, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
- @RA0808: There was an edit war because I initially misunderstood how to comment and talk with others (first time editing), but that has since been resolved as you can see by lots of allowed edits and my talk with ToBeFree . It is not promotional I think, it is just stating facts which happen to accurately reflect the quality of the school (any 'promotion' one may perceive incidental to that is appropriate, it is still being objective and stating the truth). Please note however, many other school pages are 'very promotional' as you term it like Eton College and Scotch College, i.e. for Eton College, Eton has educated 19 British prime ministers and generations of the aristocracy and has been referred to as the chief nurse of England's statesmen.[4]' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eton_College . Your thoughts on the treatment of School pages and their alumni then generally in this context? I can start a discussion on this on the Sydney Grammar page if you think it best? Gogomannn1 (talk) 16:37, 22 August 2018 (UTC) gogomannn1
- @Gogomannn1: All pages have areas for improvement, I've actually gone and added quotation marks for the "chief nurse of England's statesmen" remark to clarify that it is a quotation rather than an objective statement of fact. In the meantime, yes, starting the discussion is for the best! (Also, you don't need to ping the person whose talk page you are writing on, I get a notice whenever someone writes a message here already) RA0808 talkcontribs 16:41, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks! I have just started the discussion on the Sydney grammar school page. let me know if there are other issues. Gogomannn1 (talk) 16:55, 22 August 2018 (UTC)gogomannn1

big in japan
The song makes a bold statement and lyrics, when you're big in Japan, but ironically it wasn't a big hit at all in Japan ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.241.170.48 (talk) 22:38, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
