Re: 2018 Paraguayan Primera & 2018 Copa Paraguay
editHey! Regarding your query, let's go by parts (using English in this reply merely because this is the English wiki, you'll understand):
- Tables: When I created the article, I only included the Torneo Apertura table because there was not much information available on the Torneo Clausura at the time of posting, just the teams and the dates of the Apertura. In fact, I noted that the draw of the schedule for both tournaments was only held yesterday, so the fixtures are now something that could be added. As for the aggregate table, the idea is to not add it at least until after the Apertura is over. The reason is mainly because the aggregate table is exactly the same Apertura table in the first semester of the year, so having both tables together and showing the exact same info is redundant. Also, it's important that sources are cited when adding the tables and/or schedule, to avoid other people deleting stuff just because they aren't satisfied with the info provided. It already happened to me a while ago with the Primera A and that's quite uncomfortable.
- Copa Paraguay: Since it's going to be a separate competition including not just the 12 Primera División teams but also teams from lower tiers, it should have its own separate article. A "see also" section in both league and cup articles linking each other could be helpful. Also, international qualification via the Copa Paraguay should only be reflected in the aggregate table from the moment the cup is over (that's what I usually do with the Copa Colombia and the "reclasificación", for example).
In all fairness, any help to keep stuff up to date is greatly welcome, and I thank your interest in helping. Greetings! --CodeMars04 (talk) 15:29, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
Re:Florencio Villalba (2018 Paraguayan Primera División season)
editHey! Regarding the issue with Florencio Villalba at General Díaz, I'd say the most straightforward thing to do would be switching him for Francisco Arce, given that Villalba was only there as a caretaker if I remember correctly and as you say, he didn't coach a single official match. However, there's already a precedent with Aldo Bobadilla being there without doing the same before departing for Libertad, so I have updated the article making clear that Villalba was a caretaker manager and Arce will take over as the coach for the season.
