9/11 Editing

edit

In a 2008 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user working on articles concerning the September 11, 2001 attacks. Before any such sanctions are imposed, editors are to be put on notice of the decision. This notice is not to be taken as implying any inappropriate behaviour on your part, merely to warn you of the Arbitration Committee's decision. Thank you.

In particular, this edit was most unhelpful. Jehochman Talk 12:45, 6 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for contributing a new original image to the Freedom Tower construction gallery. There's been a problem for a while with users stealing photos from other sites and posting them in the gallery, and then edit wars to keep them in after they've been pulled. Hopefully a new legitimate image will stave off this problem for a while. –Cg-realms (talkcontribs) 23:52, 14 September 2008 (EDT)

Hello,

can you please explain to me whether you have made the following edit by mistake? Though you are giving a source, it seems incorrect!

Mineta testimony

edit

Please enlighten me... what is "utterly false" about the following statement of mine:

Omitting Mineta's testimony entirely from their report, the 9/11 Commission asserted that Dick Cheney only arrived at the PEOC at 9:58, that there were no "orders" given relating to the shoot-down of errant planes until after 10:03, and that neither the Vice President nor anyone at the Pentagon knew about Flight 77 until it hit the Pentagon.

[1]

Also, please explain to me how this statement of yours has anything to do with Mineta's testimony:

The 9/11 Commission report concluded, based on testimony from the other members who were in the bunker and overhead the conversation, that the young man was referring to Flight 93.

This is an infrequently used account that was used for BLP vandalism, per RfPP, so I've blocked it. SlimVirgin talk contribs 22:57, 2 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
