Hello, RP Nielsen, and welcome to Wikipedia. I see you are off to a good start. For example, I like your contribution to Carl Sagan. You left a message on my talk page, and I could have responded there, but I chose to respond here.

Since September 20, 2017, I have edited almost 700 user talk pages, edited over 100 user pages other than my own, and edited over 200 articles, and edited hundreds of items in other Wikipedia namespaces, to correct Lint errors. During this time, only one other Wikipedian has asked me not to their talk page or user page, and 3 have thanked me for editing their talk pages or user pages.

These edits are not poking at anyone. These edits are my contributions to an overall Wikipedia effort to remove lint errors and make way for the transition to HTML5.

I will try to remember that you would prefer that I not correct code errors on your talk page, but if I forget, please forgive me.

Thank you again for your contributions to Wikipedia.

Cheers, —Anomalocaris (talk) 06:48, 25 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Someone else would fix them anyway. RP, please see WP:USERPAGE and WP:TPG and WP:REFACTOR. It's perfectly permissible to fix coding errors on any page; no one totally WP:OWNs any page here, even their user and user talk pages.  — SMcCandlish ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ʌ<  06:56, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
