File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:WCGS logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. DMacks (talk) 23:32, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Wallington County Grammar School, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Stop doing this. Meters (talk) 20:46, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but I only removed this template because its being there seems ridiculous. Although there is no immediate source that one may be directed to to see the list of WCGS's headmasters, as a pupil of the school, I can personally vouch for the accuracy of the list. (Not to mention the fact that other schools whose Wiki pages display lists of previous headmasters don't have the same notice applied to them.) Please let me know if there is anything further you might suggest in addressing this matter. Rabidmelonfarmer (talk) 21:09, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia:Verifiability policy is a cornerstone of Wikipedia encyclopedia. Personal vouching is not good enough. There are editors whose changes are done with disruptive intent or a mistaken attempt at humour. Readers need to be able to check the veracity of content by referring to a source. The fact that there are other school articles without the tag does not mean it is right not to have it. See Wikipedia:Other stuff exists, so please respect the hatnote's addition by User:Meters. If you have not been able to find a single source for the material such as a published history of the school, then individual citations from local papers over the years might be worth investigating.SovalValtos (talk) 23:20, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
And you might want to read WP:MINOR. It was not a minor edit the first time you removed the maintenance template. let alone the second time. Meters (talk) 00:53, 22 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
