Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Lights (musician). While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 01:50, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
- A better explanation is indeed in order. Wikipedia is not intended to [[list a collection of social networking links - most people nowadays are using social networking, and such lists tend to promote those sites, even if that was not the intention. There was already a section of External links listing the main sites anyway. Also, listing counts of subscribers for each site isn't a good idea because this information generally becomes outdated within a day or so.
- Please read through some of the Wikipedia tips and especially read what Wikipedia is not. There is also a place to ask further questions about Wikipedia. Thank you for your interest in Wikipedia. Dl2000 (talk) 01:30, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
