  Hello, I'm Abelmoschus Esculentus. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Please clarify your relationship with Sun Country Airlines

edit

  Hello, Raine004. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Sun Country Airlines, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 10:16, 4 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, @Melcous: I appreciate your concerns. I currently am not affiliated with Sun Country Airlines in any way. I currently work as a PharmD at a Pharmacy with no business ties to Sun Country Airlines. If you could help me understand what is advertising about my edit I would be happy to listen. My reasoning behind how the edit was not advertising was that it is an informative edit regarding the details of the airline's new rewards program. If you look at the SkyMiles Wikipedia page there is clearly advertising there with the table showing miles per dollar. Raine004 (talk) 15:46, 4 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for you reply. I am intrigued by your wording that you are not currently affiliated with the airline. Have you ever been affiliated with or had business ties to the airline? Melcous (talk) 20:47, 4 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Melcous: I have never been affiliated with this airline or any airline for that matter. Raine004 (talk) 23:56, 4 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for clarifying. Melcous (talk) 03:08, 5 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:48, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
