We do appreciate contributions, but the link you have been recently adding to Microsoft Gadgets is not appropriate per the External links policy. While I appreciate that you've created a nice tutorial, Wikipedia is not the place to promote it, as we merely seek to describe the topic - we are not a how-to site. You can probably imagine how many links would be there if we linked to all the good tutorials. :-) I would suggest submitting it to a web directory on the subject. The article Paperclip principle has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Recently-created principle, no evidence of notability for encyclopedic purposes.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Glenfarclas (talk) 07:43, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
