edit- Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page to follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons' policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring and sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account or IP being blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! nsaum75 !Dígame¡ 05:21, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
Thanks
editThanks for your work on Puebla related articles. Maybe you can help with translations from es.wiki to english wiki too! Saludos -- nsaum75 !Dígame¡ 05:23, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Upaeplogo.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Upaeplogo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:05, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Cholula
editUy! you scared me with that Cholula edit! That's a week's worth of work there. However, feel free to check the information and make corrections. Sometimes I dont quite understand the Spanish right.Thelmadatter (talk) 03:19, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Would you mind citing all of the stuff you've been adding to the Great Pyramid of Cholula article? Here are some basic templates, just copy and paste them in, then add the appropriate fields for each template:
- Cite book : <ref>{{Cite book|last= |first=|authorlink = |coauthors= |title= |publisher= |date= |location= |pages= |url= |doi= |id= |isbn= }}</ref>
- Cite encyclopedia : <ref>{{Cite encyclopedia|title=|encyclopedia=|editor-last=|editor-first=|editor-link=|volume=|publisher=|pages=|date=|id= |accessdate=|year=}}</ref>
- Cite journal : <ref>{{Cite journal|first=|last= |authorlink= |coauthors= |year=|month=|date=|title=|quote=|journal=|volume=|issue=|pages=|doi=|id=|url=|format=|accessdate=}}</ref>
- Cite web : <ref>{{Cite web|last=|first= |authorlink=|last2=|first2=|last3= |first3=|last4=|first4=|title= |work=|publisher= |date=|url=|format= |doi= |accessdate=}}</ref>
- Citation : <ref>{{Citation|last=|first=|author-link=|last2=|first2= |author2-link= |title= |place= |publisher= |origyear= |year=|month= |volume= |edition= |chapter= |chapterurl= |page= |pages= |url= |archiveurl= |archivedate= |doi=|id=|isbn= }}</ref>

March 2011
editPlease do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Puebla, Puebla. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Muhandes (talk) 08:50, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Upaeplogo.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Upaeplogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 04:01, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
