File source problem with File:WDGY Press Conference 8 21 65.jpg

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:WDGY Press Conference 8 21 65.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:28, 11 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 15:28, 11 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Randulo! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Randy Resnick - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Speedy deletion nomination of Voip users conference

edit

A tag has been placed on Voip users conference requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. License tagging for File:FoolsParadise.ogg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:FoolsParadise.ogg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 08:05, 8 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Clarendelle

edit

The article Clarendelle has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable wine produced by non-notable WP:WINERY with no reliable sources to build the article with

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. AgneCheese/Wine 00:52, 15 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Château Quintus

edit

Hi, I reverted it back to 5000 because that's the number in the Wine Cellar Insider article. Please provide a reference for the 1000 number if you intend to revert it. Thanks. -- KTC (talk) 12:28, 29 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Domaine Clarence Dillon logo.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Domaine Clarence Dillon logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:27, 2 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your e-mail

edit

Please don't use e-mail to send me messages you could easily place on my Talk page. I have nothing to say to you that can't be said publicly. Please disclose any outside connection you have with the companies about which you intend to write articles. Deb (talk) 18:23, 1 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Chapman products company

edit

You said "Have you suggestions regarding the text that you can pass on so I can make changes?" Although you've had an account for a long time, you haven't used it and consequently you don't have a good understanding of how Wikipedia works. You should never have replaced the article after it was deleted - you should tried to find out how to improve it. It still reads like an advertisement.

The introduction is just about acceptable. The first two sentences of the "History" section are okay. The rest of that section is hearsay, intended to promote the company. I'm guessing you copied it from their own brochures. The "Charitable Foundation" section is full of promotional content, hardly any of which is referenced. Likewise the first paragraph of the "Operations" section.

I've marked where references are needed. If you can't provide them, you need to delete those sections. You need to make sure that most of the references are from reliable independent sources, not the company's own statements. For the moment I won't delete the article, but there is plenty of justification for me to do so if these improvements aren't made. Deb (talk) 08:57, 2 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sheen Magazine

edit

It would be helpful if you could also please improve this article. Virtually all of the sources used come from Sheen magazine itself - self-promotion is no recommendation. Most of these links seem to be broken. You need to find some up-to-date, independent sources, otherwise it's just an advert for the magazine. Deb (talk) 09:08, 2 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Chapman products company

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Chapman products company, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CUPIDICAE💕 14:38, 2 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia Submissions

edit

Hi. I was interested to see that you had received an e-mail from these scammers. Don't ever pay them anything; they can't guarantee to create a Wikipedia article. I was wondering how they knew about you. Did you ever contact them? I'm not blaming you if you did, but it would be useful to know. Deb (talk) 18:17, 4 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Deb It wasn't to me, they wrote to Chapman who knew how to reach me by email even though I've never spoken to anyone there before! I replied to their query, told them it's a scam and not to proceed. But I agree it's odd. I assume this kind of crap is done by companies who use bots to scrape Wikipedia for deletions, somehow. Or they use the same scrutation that editors use to see new pages and they monitor them. I would never contact such scum. I'm a musician, I receive very similar "offers" every week from companies who can make me go viral, and this, completey free!

Randulo (talk) 18:30, 4 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I'm glad you told them that. You have a better chance of doing it on your own than through them in any case. Deb (talk) 18:34, 4 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
