Tools for deletion

I notice that you proposed renaming two categories recently. There is a tool called Wikipedia:Twinkle that makes this much easier. You can enable it at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-gadgets-gadget-section-browsing (the 11th item in that list). It adds a "TW" menu (near the "View history" tab), and then you can follow the semi-automated process in Wikipedia:Categories for discussion#Twinkle instead of the long and complicated manual version. Twinkle is pretty much three clicks plus typing your reasons, and then it does all the paperwork automatically.

You're free to stick with the manual approach if you prefer it, but I've done both, and I've been more satisfied with the Twinkle tool. WhatamIdoing (talk) 01:07, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
