Images and recent edits

edit

I'm writing because I have found a large number of your recent edits problematic. First of all, I want to say that part of NPOV is making sure all relevant POVs are given due weight, and I sympathize with efforts to make the Orthodox Christian POV given adequate weight. But the key phrase here is due weight (see WP:WEIGHT). You have clearly cross the line with your recent edits. You have completely removed images from other POV and replaced them exclusively with Orthodox iconography. (you also uploaded two copyright violations to the commons, which is also inappropriate, but that's another issue). Please consider, in the future, simply NOT replacing all the images on pages that aren't dealing exclusively with the Orthodox POV. Replacing an image or two, or even simply supplementing the EXISTING images could be more productive.

Also, please see Help:Edit summary. You should type in a short explanation for each of your edits in the appropriate box. If you have questions about any of this, feel free to ask, and always remember you can discuss proposals you want to make to articles on their talk pages. -Andrew c [talk] 18:04, 29 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

sorry about the replacing images, i'm new to the editing, but i do agree with what you said about adding but not replacing images, i was going to suggest the same thing. Ranosonar (talk) 22:20, 29 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
