Sarah Geronimo
editHi Rars07. I'm sorry, I won't change the rating because the sources as a whole, in my opinion, don't conform to the standard set out by Wikipedia:Reliable sources. Best wishes Hekerui (talk) 14:25, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
I have reverted some of your edits again: adding whitespace is not necessary, and the headings you added ("Unstoppable Success," "The Next One and Record Breaker Success," etc.) are simply not encyclopedic. I urge you to consider that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a fansite, and that all content must be verifiable using reliable sources. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:31, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
- I appreciate the work you are doing trying to improve the article, but improvement (from C-status, which isn't very good) needs two things: encyclopedic writing (that is, objective writing) and reliable sources. Drop me a line (on my talk page, not my user page) if you have any questions. Thanks, Drmies
Sources
editThe best sources would be newspapers. Blogs and gossip mags aren't reliable sources. Woogee (talk) 04:46, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also useful when reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 05:48, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:57, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- Rars, please use talk pages, not user pages, for comments. Anyway, thanks for your note. No, I wouldn't say that all the sources are reliable, because I haven't looked at all of them. The ones you added in the last few edits seem OK to me (I checked a few of them), so that's good. But make sure that you don't re-add unsourced information, such as the platinum claims, and also make sure that citations are properly attributed and inserted into the text. Happy editing, Drmies (talk) 06:03, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Edits, summaries
editHey Rars, I'm looking at the article, but I have to ask you two things rightaway, for your own benefit and that of other editors: a. please use edit summaries (see Help:Edit summary), and b. combine the many small edits you make into bigger edits by using preview (see Help:Show preview)--if you look at the article history, you'll see that you made some sixty edits in two days, and many of them small ones; such cluttering of the article history makes it difficult to navigate and to figure out what happened when. Thanks. Drmies (talk) 17:31, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- I think you've done a really good job finding decent sources, and that much of the information in the article is pretty well verified (the sales numbers and platinum stuff and all that, that's important too). A heading like "Phenomenal Success: 2008-Present" has to go, of course--that's not encyclopedic in terms of tone. You could consider splitting that entire biography into two music and acting sections. In a few paragraphs I made some edits, and careful editing for grammar and style should be applied across the board. I think you've put a lot of those references in templates, and there's more that can be cleaned up in that way (look at the References, and you'll see a whole bunch that are just a title with a link). But the article is certainly a lot better than it was before, so good for you! Next step, after another round of proofreading (and you can probably cut some of the detail, such as I did in that Michael Jackson section), is to have a look at Wikipedia:Good article criteria and then at Wikipedia:Good article nominations. If, after more clean-up, you submit this for a review (right now I don't think it would pass, mainly because it needs more copy editing) you will get some good feedback on what to do and how to do it. Good luck! Drmies (talk) 17:58, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Re:Sarah
editAs for the article, I think you made it too grandiose, which, in this case, means too fluffy and excessive. Try looking and reading the featured articles about people first before making any changes, and you'll understand why some other editors and I notified you about it. Sarah Geronimo IMAGES!
editHi there! I think there's a problem in this images:
- File:Sarah Geronimo Alone.JPG
- File:The Other Side of Sarah Geronimo.JPG
- File:Sarah Geronimo THE NEXT ONE CONCERT.JPG
- File:Sarah Geronimo In Motion1.JPG
I don't understand why you tag this images as violating the copyright? then you delete it! The Images is my own work and shots. If there are other kinds of these pictures in the net, well some pictures may look like the same from the internet, but no! it's my own pictures and copyrights. So it means that I didn't violate any of it! Sorry for my comment.. Hoping for your reply.--Rars07 (talk) 13:12, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know what you're talking about. I've never edited or deleted those images. User:Blakegripling ph has marked them as copyright violations, and User:PMDrive1061 has deleted them, but you'll have to ask them if you want to know why they did so. --Carnildo (talk) 21:47, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, Rars. The images were deleted because they had no licensing information and were clearly not amateur photographs. Another user tagged them for deletion and I believe he did so correctly. Assuming good faith and assuming that you are in fact a professional photographer and took the pictures yourself, it would be best if you uploaded them off of your camera or a computer file on which you keep your photos and not the internet. That in turn would paste information about the camera and its settings at the time of the photograph which would help validate your claim of ownership. Frankly, if these photos are yours, I wouldn't give them away over here. If they aren't yours, they would have to be uploaded under a fair-use rationale. I would upload them not here but instead at Wikimedia Commons. There are very clear instructions over there as to what can an d cannot be uploaded. Some - but not all - photographs at Flikr can be uploaded to Commons. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:54, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Never mind; it appears that you've uploaded them again and that you did get them from your Flikr account under the correct license. It's just that copyrights are taken very seriously here; I hope you'll remember that in the future. Best, --PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:59, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- You bet. :) Glad it worked out and thanks much for your help. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:03, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Blocked for sockpuppetry, copyright violations
edit{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. I bought that line you fed me about those DVD video captures being yours; the sockpuppet just put you over the top. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:19, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
If you are reffering to user Revers07, he is my brother and not me. Regarding the IP address (125.60.173.98) I admit that it is our IP address and my brother, Revers07 use it when he doesn't have an account here in wikipedia. I'm begging you to remove this block because I only want to improve some articles like Sarah Geronimo article because I see that no one wants to make it better. Please unblock me, I believe my intentions are good and that is to contribute in this site and to make the "unotice" article better. --Rars07 (talk) 05:09, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Not buying this given that the writing styles appear to be identical. —Jeremy (v^_^v Boribori!) 05:47, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. - Rars, this was a very bad idea from the get-go. There was no reason to resort to this, and it was obvious to anyone, including me, that Revers09 and Rars09 were the same person. Shame. Drmies (talk) 05:12, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
