Hello, Rashed Alzeer, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Open API

edit

Hi Rashed. Is this your proposed text?

Open APIs have three main characteristics: 1. Free for anyone and are available to use by all developers. 2. Typically backed by open data. [5], but the publisher may limit how the API data can be used. 3. Based on an open standard.

If so, my feedback is as follows

  1. You haven't included a source. All content in Wikipedia must be supported by reliable sources
  2. Articles should be written in paragraph form, not numbered lists, whenever possible. Using numbering like this within a sentence should almost always be avoided. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:20, 17 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I update two parts in my sandbox. The first part is (Key Features of a CDM Forum) & (Collectively Deciding the Best Course of Action). Can you please give me feedback on those two parts. @Ian (Wiki Ed): Thank you.

Hi Rashed.

  • You need to add inline citations. If you need a refresher, please review the training on inserting citations using the VisualEditor.
  • You need to add links to other articles
  • Only the article title should be bolded, and only the first time it appears in the article.

You should take another look at the Editing Wikipedia brochure. You should have received a hard copy from your instructor, but just in case, I have linked to it above. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:39, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
