  1. First, make sure that the article is written in a neutral tone. Avoid things like "offers an excellent view in the spring with all the freshly blossomed flowers", as this is seen as a personal opinion and is also seen as a bit promotional, even if this is unintentional. Opinions are fairly subjective, so what could be excellent to one may not be for the next person. Terms like "ambitious" are seen along the same lines.
  2. When making claims, make sure that you attribute it to a source and avoid creating original research. Some of the content in the article isn't really sourced, so some of this comes across as your own conclusions based on source material.
  3. The war sections are OK, but suffer from being undersourced and in some sections unsourced. Make sure that you find citations for this - there may be some in the live version of the article that you could use for this.

Overall this isn't bad, it just still needs some work before it's really ready. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:16, 22 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Church of Saint Simeon Stylites

edit

Hello! Your introduction is strong and a good length but the rest of the article is lacking with information. The bottom category of facts in Aleppo includes a lot of interesting categories and I think it would be beneficial to elaborate on these subjects! It would help give your article length and add different sections of information. It was interesting reading and learning that the church was held by Islamist extremist groups. I enjoy your side sections with basic information, It helps gives the article structure. Great Work!
