Here to be your online buddy!
editDear Shamik,
Thanks for attending the English WikiWorkshop at Netaji Subhash Engineering College on 25th Jan 2012. I hope you found the session interesting and informative - and that you picked up some basics about how to write (or, as we call it, "Edit") Wikipedia.
I am writing to ask if you need any help on anything related to Wikipedia. I realise that there is so much covered in workshops that it's a little difficult to remember all the points. Wikipedia is a little hard to understand when you begin editing, but with a little bit of practice, it's really easy and amazing fun! Just let me know if you are struggling with anything and I'll help you out.
You might find these links useful:
- You can access the English Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org
- Please go to this page (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:UserLogin&returnto=Main+Page) to log in to your user account. It will help you to keep track of all of your contributions.
- When I started editing, I used to struggle with which article to work on. Here are some suggestions for you:
- You can always find more articles by looking through Computer Science related articles from Category:Computer Science.
Please feel free to contact me at subha wikimedia.org. I'm here to hold your hands and will be your online buddy.
Happy Editing!
Some Sandesh for you!

Dear Shamik, Thanks a lot for putting your efforts for editing Wikipedia, I am really glad to see you being bold and emphasizing on Referencing and citing reliable sources.
You have asked me about using Twinkle, This page and the Documentatiion page gives information about installing Twinkle, it helps you for putting many maintenance tags. Please let me know if you need any other support regarding this. Subha (talk) 05:33, 27 March 2012 (UTC) |
